Did you know that a Penguin only has one mate for life?
Did you know that a Penguin only has one mate for life? Well I didn’t until I met up with Tammy and Tom for their engagement session before their big wedding in April. Judging from how much fun we had on the engagement photography session, the wedding at Kochav HaYam in the town of Caesarea will be a huge blast. But back to the penguins…it was after I noticed a tattoo on the back of Tammy’s neck that I asked ‘why a penguin?’, it was then that I was told this amazing story of penguins finding each other through millions of penguins and having one mate for life. Tom said that they both got penguin tattoos and the rest as they say is history.
Their love affair started in March 2013 when Tammy, an Australian living in Tel Aviv, noticed Tom, an Israeli…in Tel Aviv, in a bar, but not building up enough courage to go and talk to Tom, Tammy’s good friend wrote down Tammy’s number on a napkin and gave it to him…He obviously called. I hope these images show the abundance of love that Tom and Tammy have for each other. Lets not forget the main attraction on the shoot – the beloved Nooshie, probably the cutest dog in the world 🙂
